The Samsons band was formed on July 14 2003 by Bams Reguna Bukit (the vowel), Erik Partogi Siagian (the guitar), Irfan Aulia (the guitar), Chandra Christanto (the drum) and Aldri Dataviadi (bass). Initially, the name of the band that jumped with the lyric hits this Terindah Memory not Samsons but 'Equal' with the personnel of six people who decided to go out before could the recorder. The first Samsons album, NALURI LELAKI the success gained 4 illiterate appreciations for the category: the best Pop Group, The Best Album Pop, the best new Band, and the Best Album 2006.
After the success with debut his first album, Samsons again launched the album both of them in 2007. Single first from this HIDUP WAITING album was the Tak Sempurna Story. Followed with single the two were crushed. In this album also was gotten the song of For You that his videoclip was made in celebration of the birthday of RI independence in 2007.
